http://www.Emfnews.ORG Every day, we're swimming in a sea of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) produced by electrical appliances, power lines, wiring in buildings, and a slew of other technologies that are part of modern life. From the dishwasher and microwave oven in the kitchen and the clock radio next to your bed, to the cellular phone you hold to your ear—sometimes for hours each day—exposure to EMR is growing and becoming a serious health threat.

But there's a huge public health crisis looming from one particular threat: EMR from cellular phones—both the radiation from the handsets and from the tower-based antennas carrying the signals—which studies have linked to development of brain tumors, genetic damage, and other exposure-related conditions.1-9 Yet the government and a well-funded cell phone industry media machine continue to mislead the unwary public about the dangers of a product used by billions of people. Most recently, a Danish epidemiological study announced to great fanfare the inaccurate conclusion that cell phone use is completely safe.10

George Carlo, PhD, JD, is an epidemiologist and medical scientist who, from 1993 to 1999, headed the first telecommunications industry-backed studies into the dangers of cell phone use. That program remains the largest in the history of the issue. But he ran afoul of the very industry that hired him when his work revealed preventable health hazards associated with cell phone use.

In this article, we look at why cell phones are dangerous; Dr. Carlo's years-long battle to bring the truth about cell phone dangers to the public; the industry's campaign to discredit him and other scientists in the field; and what you can do to protect yourself now emf radiation emf dangers cellphone radiation dangers computer electro hypersensitivy EMF protection EMF Protection Shield Dangers of the wireless cell phone, wi-fi and emf age

  • Suuuuuuuuuure it is....because people who are being paid HUGE money, SAY SO!! And that makes "YOU" juat the kind of consumer they are looking for!!! CONGRATULATIONS!! Ding-ding-ding...ring the winning bell for this lad here! Why...at YOUR age, YOU must know everything!! Go follow blindly, now. And remember...NEVER question ANYthing they tell you...because YOU already "know" ANYthing!!

  • You know what, tremer? YEARS ago...before your time, they used to have cigarette comercial ads on TV with these guys in lab coats telling you which brand was better. (Well, they MUST have known...they LOOKED like doctors!) They were paid BIG money. And as time went on, these Big Tobacco CEO's stood before Congress and Swore on The Bible and to God Almighty Himself that cigs were NOT addicitve AND posed NO health problems.

  • People have to realize that they r responsible for their own health. The business community will sell u AIDS if they could package it, and manipulate the political system to allow them to sell it. However, with dangers like radio and microwaves we don't really have much options since electromagnetic fields will pass thu us whether we try to avoid them or not. I never use a cellphone b/c there r phones everywhere, a cellphone is not necessary. If someone needs u that badly then they will find u.

  • just as you thought everyone had given up 'cancer sticks'...they start erecting giant ones outside your house!

  • i think that u could get harmed but like

if ur in hardcore contact with it

  • my fathers cell phone fucked up the hd tvs at the store. it was crazy, he got a phone call, i heard the cell buzz sound in the speakers and all the hd tvs went black! thats a shit load of energy given off .

  • haha

  • I know, and I can respect that, I was just trying to make a point about the denial people live in, (including myself) about the reality of the potential danger we face everyday in our technological world. its like when you eat a piece of cake, you know its fattening, but you don't want to hear someone say to you while you are eating it, "that will make you fat" you just cross your fingers and hope it won't show, even though deep down you know that it will.

  • really? tell me, was it painless? because if it wasn't, I don't really want to know.
