@jshives That's funny because you can't keep a consistent tense in your sentences.

Thanks for the great advice. Don't worry about those that have not learned how to communicate maturely. We will always need people to dig ditches and pick up garbage on the side of the road while supervised : )

@CheaterNLaw ha! to be honest i don't even have cyclist shoes :P And yes, I'm doing ironman distances

@CheaterNLaw instead of spending a couple of thousands on a ultra light bike focus on your training.Bike means nothing when you're weak.Money isn't everything.I've got a 10+year old steal frame peugeot without an arrow bar and its still fine for me... It's not the gear that makes you good. You have no idea what kind of satisfaction i feel when I'm overtaking someone on a carbon bike who is dressed in one those "pro" outfits.

I'm confused, aren't the pedals already made in circles? How else would you do anything but circles?
HerbsareLife 2 years ago
Not true. The most widely accepted style of pedaling for maximum efficiency is to pedal in circles. Is this true for everyone? Probably not. Do some people pedal ovals. Probably. I've been running and cycling for nearly 22 years and I have never met or ridden with anyone who attests to the "oval" method ... but to each his own.
