I really like this actor; he's very capable and should be more popular. My only complaint is that the song is not very fitting to his background and era.

I loved him as Napoleon Bonaparte. It was brilliant. Very accurate. Such a good actor. Pity that he commited suicide.Tsk Tsk

Always liked this song and it fits many of Boyer's roles perfectly, he's one of my favorite actors, thx for this!

As the 110th anniversary of Charles' birth (& the 31st anniversary of his death) approaches, this is a good time for this video to come out.
Though the lyrics of the song are certainly apropos to Charles' situation, the song itself is more like something his son Michael probably would have liked (had he lived another year longer, poor kid).
I would have liked to have seen a photo of Charles with his wife, the charming Pat Paterson. She must have been a remarkable woman. May they rest in peace!
Dear Charles, my favorite leading man, so romantic and adorable :-) He was a very nice person in his private life too. Pity for such a tragic end though...
Unfortunately he is not as well known as he should be nowadays so thanks for the video !

This is a bittersweet video, as Charles pretty much died from a broken heart. He was an admirable actor as well as a man.

Rachel,
thank you for your "right on the money" comment. This statement very much encompasses the direction to which I wanted the video to head. Thank you for being the first to say anything about this.
