  • that is an artists brush with very fine hair used for watercolour, it leaves no brush marks as the oil varnish flows out after brushing,

  • Was there some sort of pre-varnish on the violin before you began? It's so shiny.

    Thanks.

  • Very nice. I'm thinking of using violin varnish on a maple drum shell. What kind of brush are you using? And can you see brush marks in the finish? Thanks.

  • At the end, when you give the violin a spin in front of the camera, the harp is visible... nice varnish.

  • hahaha. its very visible at 3.55
