The newest tale of adventure, intrigue and excitement in a galaxy far, far away combines the legendary storytelling of Lucasfilm and the "Star Wars" Saga with a signature animation style from Lucasfilm Animation.
On the front lines of an intergalactic struggle between good and evil, fans young and old will join such favorite characters as Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padmé Amidala, along with brand-new heroes like Anakin's padawan learner, Ahsoka. Sinister villains—led by Palpatine, Count Dooku and General Grievous—are poised to rule the galaxy. Stakes are high, and the fate of the Star Wars universe rests in the hands of the daring Jedi Knights. Their exploits lead to the action-packed battles and astonishing new revelations that fill "Star Wars: The Clone Wars."

@Timelord6661 ..through the character of Ahsoka. 4. We're actually shown, the stakes of what the characters are fighting for, and therefore we care more about them.
5. We actually see the side of Anakin that Obi-wan most admired in A New Hope.
The ultimate irony of this is that George Lucas has been criticised for his over use of CGI in live action films, yet when he makes something completely reliant on it, it has more of a real connection with the audience than the live action prequels did.

The irony of this film and series is that it is far better from a critical point of view, than all three prequels, for these reasons.
1. We have an emotional investment in the characters, in spite of them being animated and completely CGI, they have far more personality in the way they are written than any of the characters portrayed in the prequels.
2. Actually focused and decent plotting.
3. We have a new character to introduce the plot to and therefore explain it to the audience....
