The Good Samaritan Mission, Inc. is a charitable, not for profit, 501 (c) (3) Non-Denominational Christian ministry. We are located in southeast Hillsborough County, in Balm, a few miles from Sun City Center. The Mission is dedicated to a holistic approach to enhancing the spiritual, emotional/psychological and physical quality of life of farm workers and others living in poverty. We do not receive any funding from the government, except for the VPK educational program and School Readiness. Everything that we do is inspired by our love for Jesus, and is financed by private individual donations and donations from churches.

For 25 years the Good Samaritan Mission has been involved in advocating for those living in poverty while feeding and clothing the needy. Many lives have been touched by the hands of those that have been willing to share with those in need.




We started a new program this year in keeping with our holistic approach to helping the poor. This program, called the Seeds of Change, is a program consisting of three levels of growth offered to the people we serve.

Through the vehicles of Mentoring, Discipleship, Apprenticeship, Shadowing, technical training and other educational opportunities, we intend on leading individuals and families out of dependant lifestyles of subsistence and into strong, self-reliant habits and practices.

In an effort to improve our clienteles lives, we have purposed to provide quality adult education. By doing so, we hope to enlarge the possibilities and the opportunities of those we serve, all in an effort to instill in them a sense of purpose, community, and gratitude.
