For all you non musicians/singers you sing from the diaphram and the older you get hunching over helps to pull up the power you need to sing. Now you know.

Much better than the Rising in the East version, thanks.

gotta say Halford is probably the best live singer out there

Even though Halford isn't singing this like he did in the old days, He's got precision attack and extreme authority with his vocals. Awesome that they're playing some of the older classics. Tipton, KK and the crew are flawless and spot on. This band will always kick serious ass. It can be no other way.

@schismc It was. Thank God I grew up in the 60's and 70's. I got to see all the great bands live, from Led Zeppelin to ELP and everything in between. I saw Van Halen several times before they were signed, as well as AC/AD at the Whiskey. Being a drummer my band played at all of those places as well (still do). It was a truly great era.

@dsrocknroller Couldn't agree more that is the best version there is, better than the studio version. I'm just saying that this is better than the Rising in the East DVD from 2005.

@exc123 Sory I thought you meant unleashed in the east. My bad. Please disregard.
I saw them do this live in 1978 when I was a senior in high school. An Epic song that set the standard for all Speed Metal to come, period.

@racer500gp It must have been one hell of concert in '78. You're right "Exciter" was a precursor to speed metal and influenced many bands for years, continuing to do so presently. The drumming on Exciter was a benchmark in the '80s, '90s, and today. Halford's vocals were beyond amazing. Their supercharged version of "Victim of Changes" on Unleased in the East is also amazing.
