College Smart: The Gift of Tolerance

The Emmy award-winning television show "Living Smart with Patricia Gras," featured "The Gift of Tolerance" on Houston's PBS April 10 at 3 p.m. You can view it at the HoustonPBS Youtube page. In this episode, Rice University Associate Professor of World Religions, Jill Caroll, shares insight into her definition of tolerance whether it be through religion, race, or ethnicity. She shares tolerance trends that are happening all over the world and discusses whether tolerance is still a problem for many Americans.

In this episode of College Smart, reporter Cassady Lance asks students various questions about tolerance on one of the most religious and racial diverse campuses in America, the University of Houston. Shooter and Editor Christina Rivera captures all the action.
