When Briton Jane Walker first saw children rummaging through trash heaps while on a trip to the Philippines in 1996, she decided to do something about it. Employing about 100 people, Walker helps improve the lives of thousands of children and their families who otherwise would be forced to eke out a living, picking through Manila's garbage dumps. Jennifer Glasse reports.
I'm trying to establish a charity for pre-natal and post-natal care for Philippine women - it's a struggle but Jane Walker has inspired me to press on. I have lived in the Philippines but I am back in Canada trying to raise funds.

amazing. thank you. your the first to nottice the honor of filipinos, they don easily give in to poverty as an excuse to give in to evil things. I saw human trafficking in thailand a lot, and they are much richer than the philippines.
