Paul Revere and the Raiders' style garage gem from this Toronto, Canada, band, recorded in 1967. The Plague scores a local hit with "Face of time", a dark punk tune later covered by The Fuzztones on the "Salt for zombies" album.

  • The voice of the bloke is very close to Mark Lindsay style.

  • That's my dad! amazing!

  • Sounds like an edgier zombies. I like it a lot.

  • I wrote this song in 1965 and it was recorded with 'Donny B & the Bonnvilles'.

My vocals & sax. We later formed the 'Jarvis Street Revue'.

Look up 'Dopefiend From Disneyland' for more recent songs.

    Tommy Horricks

  • But it was released in 1966 (together with Face Of Time and High Flying Bird)

  • I think if it had a distorted lead guitar, then it would be even more Raiders-like.

  • Hi, I enjoyed the song very much.

Does sound somewhat like The Raiders, but also reminds me some of Jr. Walker and The All-Stars and The Strangeloves (song sounds a lot like "Shotgun" and "Nighttime").
