@y2k4ever1 instead of that average Alex Kid, it was ok to play at the time but compared to mario it was dirt. wonderboy was average too. they didnt have a decent in house platformer till Sonic did they? and that was a very short game but very playable

Shinobi = Great Muta back in the late 80s/early 90s.
To be honest i think Sega built the genesis's/Mega Drive's sound chip around the arcade Shinobi sound chip, that would explain why Shinobi 3, shadow dancer, and revenge of Shinobi have an oddly better presence for music on the genesis compared to other games :D

@y2k4ever1 The arcade chip was the YM2151, and the YM2612 was another one in the OPN family. Both were mutually compatible.
And Yamaha built both chips, not SEGA.
