Maybe they are Faverolles, but definitely not Salmon. You can google it and compare to yours, then you can see the difference. Salmon colour means pinkish orange - does it look like pinkish orange to you???

@spyroterra felt the above comment was harsh i agree the quality looks a little lacking but as they are very friendly and good layers would be interested to know which hatchery they came from

Yeesh, for a moment I was wondering where the Faverolles were. . . Sorry, but those girls were really poor quality.
-
I have two cochins at the moment and I am thinking of getting two faverolles.
-
no,
they are purebreads,
the quality is just not the best
also almost all the hatcheries have purebread chickens cause they only put chickens withen their own kind together

i love the salmon faverolles!!!!!!
sadly i dont have one!!!
my friends have some and i like 2 play with them :D
they are my 2nd favorite breed after the Mille fluers
I was told that Faverolles rhymes with Chevrolete. So, are we confused now?!

@ybmagpye I got them in the rarest of the rare assortment from Murray McMurray. And it doesn't bother me what people say. I am not a poultry shower; I am more interested in temperament and these girls are sooooo sweet! :-)

Those are not very high quality salmon faverolles......
Did you get them from a hatchery?
Otherwise, they are mixed breed.
My little girl is my favorite. LOVE HER TO DEATH.

Thanks for the info. I did not buy them for showing or bloodline breeding so their quality is irrelevant to me. Their temperament is perfect and that is all I care about. They care from a hatchery.
