Europe is managing it far better because the people are not so much in depts like the americans. Europeans are more able to help themself. America changed into a country of softeggs, they can't do a thing on their own, the only thing they can is consuming, they live in big houses, drive big cars and even mutate into a big and fat population. Americans are just not able to stop living over their financial circumstances. Now america has a stratum of extreme poverty, very sad. The party is over!

Just as in the US, UK middle classes are struggling with debt. This morning BBC radio said that middle classers are queueing up at debt advice centres worried about mortage payments, secured loans and credit card debt. Just as Marx said, there will always be booms and busts. The middle class will probably survive. On the other hand, is time running out for fiat money? What gets me is how, with so much national debt, can the US and UK finance wars? Profits are going to privatiers.

Not sure what this was about
But that hot dog at the end looked very tasty
Thank's for posting. I'm British, and I am willing to spend $600 on US goods when President Bush sends me a cheque, but that is one hell of a lot of money the Fed is printing. The world domination guy is funny, and the ladies who want to pay some bills are sensible - just don't let the President find out 'cause he is going to knock on their door and ask for the cash back.

That's the very strange thing about these checks, is that no one is sure where exactly that money is coming from, whether from bonds issued by the treasury or available tax receipts , either way the money will be paid back one way or another. No doubt there has been much speculation as to how the government will recoup their expense, one possible example is a "carbon footprint Tax" that will be imposed on everyone. Either way the economic situation seems to be falling for the worse.
