you cant expand your rib cage LOL

It's usually only hard on the shoulders if excessive weight is used. When done with lighter weights and used as stretching move it's actually a very safe exercise.

@MrJrMcLovin yes this will definitely help out pectus excavatum i have it and have read several articles saying this will help expand the sternum i think ill do the dumbbell pulllover because it just seems easier yet itll get the job done. I reccommend going to the doctor first to see if you have a mild, moderate, or severe case, if you have a severe case or a highly moderate one you'll need surgery but if not then do some exercises like this and it'll look better but keep at it

for some reason i don't think this is a chest exercise. i dont feel anything in my chest. i feel its a way more back/lat exercise, as i pull it up. anyone agree or have some thought on this?

@MrJrMcLovin
I really don't know. I've never had to deal with Pectus Excavatum myself and I don't know anyone personally who has had it. But if you certainly give it a try and see how it feels for you. As long as you can lift weights comfortably I don't see any problem with adding in this move to your workout.

Is it good to expand the chest with this exercise? Is it suitable for teens?

@SoulOne94
Yes, this is a good move for teens to help stretch and expand the rib cage and build the chest and lats.
