I just finished building this board. I will mainly use it with my 1973 JMP. Burkey Flatliner to power the lot, Mogami 2528 cable for audio.

Signal path is: Modded Crybaby, Masotti Black Box buffer, Fulltone Mini Dejavibe, Advance blue Overcatdrive, Okko Diablo, Fulltone OCD, Korg Pitchblack, Boss DD20.

DD20 is on the Tape setting, the Marshall is set totally clean as you can hear in the beginning. The cab is a 1973 4x12 with Greenbacks. The guitar is my Tyler Antarctic Mint Schmear classic with Suhr V60LPs and a Tyler Supercharged Studebacker humbucker.

Some random playing to go over the different tones and fx on the board. I think this will be just perfect for my blues/bluesrock gig.

  • How do you like the Masotti Black Box? Not sure you can answer this question but here goes. I go guitar-effects-amp (about 20 ft of cable) but also come back to the pedalboard with the effects loop (then back to amp). Would another Masotti Black Box be needed in the effects loop or just one in front of the amp?

  • @kdr26554 I love the Black Box, great buffer for sure. You won´t need another one in the effects loop as the signal is already buffered, just put on between guitar and amp input.

  • Most people run their tuner at the end right before guitar. I noticed yours is in the beginning, just wondering if that makes a difference?

  • @bmwz20 It was just a matter of convenience having it there. I usually put the tuner early in the signal path but this is much easier to reach.

  • Love this sound! One of my favorite guitar sounds on youtube! I wonder if you need a Tyler for that sound or if a Suhr with the same Suhr pickups would sound as good.

  • In general I find the Tylers to have a bigger bottom end than the Suhr. I have played/owned several guitars of both brands and I prefer Tyler guitars.
