  • Divorce is a legal proceeding, so most people will want the advice of a lawyer. Collaborative lawyers are trained in a less adversarial process. It makes a difference.

  • Notice that this process maintains the adversarial dynamic, which is always contributed by lawyers. The lawyers control this process, just as lawyers and judges control litigation. Sure, collaborative law is better than court; but it's still run by lawyers.
