I too feel at home and relaxed when in the woods, its as if time slows down in there things become real! I love just being in the woods away from society, kids yelling and swearing, ambulances and police sirens, pimped out hondas with 25 inch bass woofers, I like hearing the streams, and the chatter of the animals talking, the whispers of the leaves telling their stories...

Im considering detaching myself from society. Selling my mercedes and buying an old pickup truck, an RV, 3000 watts in solar panels and a solar water heater and just move to the mountains. ill attach a big ass antenna and get long distance wifi from some area within line of sight or from 4g. hunt and grow my own food and live in a half acre of land. i would have no use for anything outside of medical assistance. my own problem is that if i had a major heart attack or something id be screwed

I dont see how anyone can not see his point...Obviously you can go into the woods and find smthng you can turn into US dollars..find some wood and carve it, like he said, take a video of it in an interesting manner and put it on YT, i mean UHHH hes got 100,000 views hes probably made atleast a couple hundred bucks off this video. OPen your mind up if you cant see his point, if you cant, then you must be some pathetic sub human who cant remember 99% of his ancestors lifestyle. Make wreaths fuck

Dude, I lived in the wilderness for 4 years. I was a trapper. I hunted, had a dog team. I made a living out there. Your video essentially says nothing. I mean Im glad your out there and all, but your video is pointless.

It says nothing to you because you don't understand it. Ninety some thousand other people got something out of it. Perhaps it is time for you to go back to the woods except this time learn to tune-in instead of just take.

I live in the Czech Republic. This summer I visited some mates who live in Slovakia as children but now in CZ. It was great to see them as always, and coming back I was to hiking 100Km from Zlin to Brno and camp, living in nature, very popular here, but I must admit I was a pussy, I wound up staying in campgrounds/hotels most of the time! It was a wonderful time this summer, but I admit it is much harder than it seems to be, and it was summer! Good luck to you David!

The average person can only go 24 hours without comfort. Even an experienced Ranger can only go about a day once their comfort level has been breached.

Obviously "rich" in his interpretation is not monetary riches, He is referring to the wealth of quality of life, beauty, harmony and peace (at least that is how I hear his words).

Thanks for the support. While I mostly meant quality of life, peace of mind, beauty, harmony, etc, this video was made to explore, discover and realize what JoseNavarro said above, "We can live in the wilderness, make a lot of wealth, and still have a low impact on the earth. In fact, we can help nature make it even better."
This is more than just a good idea. It is our human destiny and responsibility.
