@jotenko You're right! Self responsibility, instead of being a good thing, has become a trigger to talk about all the unfortunates who, supposedly, can't do anything to help themselves. They will eventually learn as they age but, unfortunately, for many it will be too late and they will die premature deaths.

@yesyoumay my father is also your age. Myself, I'm only 25 and I show his videos to everyone. Jack Lalanne is truly my life recerence. But, the main thing I think, is on how different values are nowadays. Can you imagine a show like this on today's TV? A show telling you about having sole responsability for your actions, your body and health, a show teaching self discipline and pride? Different times...

@yesyoumay He was great at what he did, my Mom knew him long ago. Not sure if he is in Heaven though, according to the Bible you can't earn your way there. You only make it if you believe in him and what died for. It say's Deny me on earth i will deny you to my father.. Not good.

@HomicidalDavid Sorry that more of you young people didn't know of this great man. Guess we often have to search the good things in life...their not always in today's news or media.

Very nicely done! Jack was one of my heros growing up and at 63 I can say I'm in pretty good shape and health thanks to his wonderful teachings. My Mom also followed some of his advice and I think it contributed to her good health as well.
A very good man who definitely earned a place in heaven...if there is one.
