PLEASE, do not speak of Horus if you have no idea of egyptian religion. Any egyptologist would knock his head against a desk by just watching this video. EVERYTHING you said about Horus is false, my sources are egyptologist who DO know what they talk about. Well, actually, I believe much of the Jesus story was taken or at least inspired by Pagan Myths. Though I am Christian, I am very Liberal & open-minded. I am a Universalist & I believe in freedom, LGBT Rights, feminism, etc. The "Religious Right" makes me gag. I don't deny that the Bible took a lot from Paganism. I don't deny Pagan influences. I don't accept the Bible 100% literally. I don't feel I have to. I don't deny the barbarism of the Old Testament but I still respect & honor Jesus Christ.

The saved are pre-ordained so if you can't follow Christ and God's laws and live in sin and disobedience you have not been given grace to repent and can never be saved. Humble yourself to the Lord and you may be given grace. U see you don't get to twist the scriptures to make it sound all nice and cosy to you. You are an ant.

TND Mettinger, a non-Christian scholar from Sweden, did a count and found that the vast majority of scholars today reject the "pagan-parallel" thesis. Read his book "The Riddle of Ressurection."
