I am starting to shoot more and more so cost wise i may want to start doing this. I noticed in a couple of other videos they checked to make sure the bullet was seated in the brass correctly and check the roundness with a dial indicator. Do you check your ammo as well. What does a press like that cost. Thanks

Consistant at <1/10th? That is pretty reliable. I still measure out each charge one at a time and charge the brass with a funnel. I only use a single stage press though.

striker side up, anvil side down, tube gets flipped and loaded into the primer magazine.

you do not need a license to reload privately. check your state regs. unless you live in texas you will need a CCL to transport your firearm in anything other than a closed suitable case (the case it comes in, etc..)

The 550B is one of the most versatile presses there is. It can reload *just about everything* up to 478WBY mag. if your just learning about firearms... i dont suggest you put your first round through that caliber... ;-)

the process would be "about" the same. there would be a measuring/trimming stage in case-prep prior to any loading. Also the inner workings of the dies (sizing die) is different.

well... in my country its an illegal idea without a FFL ammunition manufacturers license.

I check the powder charge ever 500-800rds, in my experience it has never so much as moved a quarter grain. During a session for my first 200 loads I will periodically check a round here and there just to make sure everything is consistent.
