Ya it may have lost but the price of the GT500 is so much better than the Spyder. Plus the new 2013 GT500 has 650 horsepower with 600 lb ft of torque and a 3.7 0-60 (attainable in 1st) and can reach over 200 mph. MUSTANG ALL THE WAY

The new comaro and challenger are the best thing that ever happened to the mustang. Hence the 5.0, boss 302 and better GT500. Ford has put in alot of work on the mustang since 2010. (I know a person on the design team)

@zacheryds The Ford GT is actually in the works. For a while they where talking about using the 5.0 supercharged but that got scrapped and if its approved for production it will use the new 5.8. If it does get approved for production you probably wont see it for another couple years. They are afraid the boss, leguna seca and Shelby will take potential sales away from it. Also their is rumor of another F150 lightning but i doubt that happens

TT Ford Gt's spin all the way through 2nd gear against Murcielagos, ZR1's, Viper's and when they finally hook they fly past like the other car was standing still. And fatter tires would do the GT500 a wonders.

@labisk A brick? I believe you are talking about the Challenger. The Mustangs have always been very light and with the new aluminum block engines, they have been able to shave off a few hundred pounds! Don't even start, Mustangs aren't even close to bricks, and 200 is obtainable with the new 5.8 liter supercharged V8 with 650hp! JERK!
