The German U-boat campaign was doomed to defeat once the Americans came into the war: German hopes that they could produce more U-boats and sink more Allied cargo ships than the US could produce were completely misplaced. If the US had not come into the war in Europe and Britain alone faced Germany, then the U-boats definitely had a chance with the right strategy. The Royal Navy alone was in no shape to defeat the Kriegsmarine. Indeed, Britain alone and unaided would never have defeated Germany.

Has anything like this come close on an XBox? I used to love Aces of the Deep and would love to see something similar in XBox 360.

Lol, try that in heavy seas with them shooting back at you (you have to change a settings for the allowable windspeed to man the guns in one of the files). You have to get close to even get near the mark or you'll just waste ammo.

=) Yep i did , in fact i modded the hell out of it. I play the game now mostly just to take video for these movies. Oh and on the ammo ,,like I said I modded the crap out of it so ammo is not really any thing i warry about wasting.
