D-AIHS is about to land MUC on Rwy8L after a long flight from ORD. This A346 was the newest a/c to the fleet at this moment and very clean, nice - and empty. In Germany we had 4 days for free, no working - so that is maybe why the flight was nearly empty and no one came to Germany..

  • What does it mean when pilots say rotate

  • @Tailor1 rotate is the signal to get airborne. the pilot lifts up the nose and the aircraft is leaving ground = flying

  • Very nice.....Im going to Germany in 4 days on an Airbus A346 exactly like the one you were on with Luftansa as well. Also i have question and anyone feel free to answer.....If the flight attendants say to turn off electronic devices and stuff how come your able to use it if it so called "interferes with the CPUs"?

  • i guess it depends on how much runway you have available to slow down, because the reverse thrust isnt that good für an engine system (you dont use it if its not necessary). And i think the pilot takes the outer engine reverser to take an earlier taxiway

  • Nice video. Interesting that Engine 1's reverse thrusters deployed a few seconds later than 2. Normally they are at the same time right?

  • 5*!!!!! sehr sehr geil. richtig schönes video. nur leider is format bisschen doof...aba sehr geiles video. danke. würd auch ma so gern mim a340 fliegen..gruß

  • Very nice video. It brings some fond memories of my first transatlantic flight which was on Lufthansa. However if I can make one minor criticism, I always enjoy listening to the arrival announcement such as "Meine Damen und Herren, Herzlich Willkommen in..."

Having something like that is always something I look forward to in any landing videos and without it I always feel a little bit robbed.

Good choice of an airline though!

  • Sorry, only in the beggining.

  • I will be flying the same plane in June from Chicago to Munich. Nice video.
