Highlander - Atari Jaguar

Highlander is a game I had ALWAYS wanted back in the mid-90s when I read about Atari releasing an attachment for my Jaguar called the Jaguar CD.
It's a decent game with nice-looking surroundings and FMV sequences throughout.
I think it's pretty hard, which should be good for a challenge :D
I believe the only downside is the lack of detail in the characters themselves, but back then, detailed polygons were in their infancy.

I wanted to like this game but found it so hard to control, slow moving and boring.

Worst games of all time is pushing it, imo, but it's certainly not one of my favorites.

The pre-rendered backgrounds look pretty good, but the character models look absolutely terrible.

i like these early 3d games, even the bad ones are fun to laugh at. highlander for the jaguar looks awesome lol, im thinking of getting a 3d0

@CompakNess Totally, I wish theyd improved the combat. Resident Evil 1 is heaps better, and even that game gets criticised these days for having bad controls. At least the controls make sense. In Alone in the Dark on DOS you have to hold space and press the movement keys to attack, and its SO sluggish. The gameplay still feels dynamite otherwise though; the whole exploring ans finding items to solve puzzles thing is great!

I owned the Jaguar, the Jag CD and this game. The truth is the game was not fun imo. Graphics were ok at best. Gameplay was horrid. This should come as no surprise for those of us who played the Jag. The sad fact is that out of the 100 games published only 25% were worth owning. I'm not sure but that sounds about right for most game systems. It just that there weren't enough programmers willing to put up with the complicated code.

@IHATEGAYFAMILYGUY Anyone has the ability to make something look bad. I'd actually play it before judging it. I'd play it if it weren't for the fact that it's for the Jaguar CD which are notorious for not working because of a lot of reasons and they usually sell for a bout 200 dollars. Plus, it doesn't really have many games that appeal to me.
