Jim had some hard luck earlier on this day with his Harrier. But a quick trip back to the hanger and he is up, up, and away again. This plane flys really nice Jim.
@boulderdsvo Good advice. I noticed, immediately, that the canopy is shaped like a tear drop. And, it is much larger than it appears in the mail order catalogs. Thanks for the knife edge tip.
Good choice for a music artist...All you did was "hinder" the pre-flight procedure and you didn't even film the actual flight! Another amateur YewToob video from the peanut gallery.
People don't realize that the canopy is actually part of the aerodynamics of the plane. The Bridi Kaos and Super Kaos, both 60 sized pattern planes, could knife-edge all day, but only with a canopy. They don't even spin right without it. I had the canopy fly off of my Bridi Super Kaos 60, back when, and the difference in handling was immediately obvious.
