Happy Blooming - Lush bath melt

Happy Blooming bath melt.

Very nice that this melt is scored so it can be more easily broken apart. I used two "parts" for this bath because my tub is deep and on the large side.

Happy Blooming contains dried cherries, passion fruit, passion flower, ylang ylang. For me, it's a confusing scent. It's one of those Lush products that is multi-layered. The initial sniff was strong almond extract, almond biscotti. Yummy. However, then I smell something medicinal like cough medicine. Then...a plastic or actually a rubber scent. Like new rubber. Air freshener. And something from my childhood that I simply cannot figure out yet.

I've been sticking it under other noses all week to get opinions. This may be TMI for some people but I find it interesting. Several guys took a sniff and instantly shrank back with wrinkled noses. It seems it reminded them
of "urinal cakes" .... those fresheners in men's bathrooms. Yikes. But that makes sense since it's similar to the air freshener scent I get from it as well. Many public bathroom freshener products are "cherry scented."

I liked the scent better in the water because it mellowed and lost some of the "unpleasant" notes I found in it. It just smelled like almond oil and that faux cherry scent.

I did love the way it turned the water a pretty milky pink. I call it rose quartz water. Really lovely.

And I loved the way it made my skin feel. The calamine is a great addition. Made me soft and soothed.

Just wish I liked the scent more.

i LOVE this bath melt..its smells soo wonderful! i cant really explain what it smells like.........sorta like play-doh ...which doesnt smell that great ...but if play-doh was scented cherry..then this would be it...i also find it to beee super relaxing and it makes the water really milky and moisturizing . ALSO its totally worth the price...i cut it into 3 pieces..and then cut THOSE pieces in half...and thats enough for me:)
