Jeremy walks like a prince who, so very fine and dignified! Though, his character, Max, has a serious anger management problem having killed his wife....handsome get away with anything, lol

I'm sure this is the more accurate adaptation, but I ADORE George Sanders as the role of Favell. He's always so captivating in any role he plays... I think it's the voice. <3

Watch the BBC 1985 version of Jane Eyre and the 1981 version of Great Expectations and you'll find the same great hall sets and the same livingroom sets. Of course, in Great Expectations they are covered in cobwebs but if you look carefully at the dining room, you'll see a sofa which is used in both Jane Eyre and also the 1986 Oliver. I think BBC was smart enough to have constructed sets for multiple films. :)

Милая Снежинка, я видела его несколько месяцев тому назад по каналу "Культура", в общем, фильм меня не разочаровал, посмотреть стоит. А как найти - не знаю, может, скачать или посмотреть он-лайн на каком-нибудь киношном сайте. Я в этом не очень-то разбираюсь.

Спасибо за фильм, за последний месяц посмотрела три фильма "Ребекка": итальянский 2008 года, Хичкока и этот. Каждый хорош в своем роде, но смотреть было любопытно, тем более, что читала книгу в оригинале.
