vocals are doom metal style while the music is more like early ISIS and like some sludge metal bands, i think the vocals are too "dirty", too much in the direction of black metal, to really fit the style of music surrounding it. If the vocalist would stretch his words a little (like double the time) and growl deeper it would fit way better in my opinion. It's not about copying other bands - but the vocals are just like in trashy doom metal and the instruments dont play trashy enough to fit
