A young man recounts how he was captured by the rebels of the Lord Resistance Army (LRA) in Northern Uganda. For the past 20 years, a civil conflict has been going on in Northern Uganda but the Ugandan government has failed to put a stop to it. Who's to blame? This survivor blames the Ugandan government.

he is more pro-LRA, He doesn't seem to have facts, his fellow rebels have admitted to committing these barbaric and Despicable acts. ask the child LRA they will tell you they have been forced to cut of people's noses, lips and ears. I dont think he is fully changed, he still supports the rebels cause

he didn't deny what the lra has done. he was also abducted by the lra so i can only imagine some of the things he's survived.

what he said was that the ug govt has also committed some of these crimes. people told me that the president doesn't care about what's going on in the north b/c it doesn't affect his tribe, which is from the west. trust, when kiden first approached me, i was suspicious but i really do think there is some validity to what he's saying.

i studied the LRA and yes a total depost rebellion run by a religious zealot, the Ugandan govt' is just as reprhensible, Museveni's govt' has displace those of the north mainly "acholi" who were represented by abote & amin. Its the same the world round. which is worse of the 2 evils.
