After initially discovering a hole in the exhaust pipe directly from the turbocharger, I temporarily patched it up. I took the vehicle to Liverpool last weekend with no problems. I come to the bus today and find that the patch wasn't over the hole and that the hole is no longer there. C920 FMP, at the moment, has a straight through exhaust. This is a recording my wife did on her mobile phone.

  • why such lumpy tickover?

  • @W444444 It's because it was starting from cold. It tends to be more fluid and smooth once it's warmed up.

  • thought it was only an lt or cummins on lynxs?

  • @saladriot The very early Lynx were built with either a Gardner 6HLXCT engine or Leyland TL11H. The Cummins L10 was introduced which spelt the end for the Gardner and Leyland engines, as the Cummins was the most popular.

  • that thing has a mean rumble! reminds me of a gardner. i assume though its probs a cummins?

  • @saladriot: Reminds you of a Gardner because it is a Gardner :)
