THE first great power trio, and the forerunner of heavy metal as we know it. Hendrix and Zep took it a few steps further, but never lost touch with the blues with their music. Cream and Zep took their blues from Mississippi and the south, Hendrix took his from Venus!!!! But no matter how you cut it, THAT was music!!!!!!!!! Glad i grew up with it!!!!

@JASONCALEDONIA You must not be high enough. You have to remember the era in which these tunes were written.

Incredible solos by Clapton on the DVD reunion. Its a must own. Clapton pulls off his riffs from the 60's with the same intensity!!!

@JASONCALEDONIA Buy the DVD and you'll see Clapton do some incredible solos. You probably are an Ingvae Momstein freak or something lol

Unbelievable that Clapton walks back into the shoes of the guitar player for Cream and pulls off the same intense solos that we were all wishing for in the 70's 80's and 90's He just blows everyone away

In Eric's biography he said it was very difficult for them to get along after the Royal Albert Hall concert

here here! Couldn't agree with you more.
God I wish these guys would do another Album and Tour. I mean it was great that they did this reunion tour but why stop now? Eric can still have his solo career, just put a little Cream to it.

Jack Bruce is classicaly trained and whatever spontaneous innovations he presents, the music is always wonderful, with the best voice yet.
