Normally when you see a video like this, it takes away the magic and mystery of the producer and their work. This video just makes me respect Liam Howlett even more!

Had a look at your profile, shitey metal fan. That's probably the most mindless music there is. It's up there wth pop music but with a different target audience!
You could say that about anything. Well done you can strum a few chords/play a few notes.
There's a lot more to it than using a computer. Theres using samples in the correct key, synthesizer programming, songwriting etc.
I don't normally comment on youtube videos because it's full of idiotic comments but fuck me. Sampling is a skill.

as much as I love rock and metal stuff (the Nirvana inspiration being the only thing I recognised before seeing this) you have to admit that the final song sounds nothing like any of its many and varied inspirations it was sampled from. That is as original as any guitar music derived from listening to other bands and standard riffs.
Knowing now how it's done how can you *not* have respect for it?

Silly to reference orig songs since all he used was a pattern/chord. Youngsters: Understand how much better Prodigy was than anything you could get on a CD at the time. Liam's stuff was THE BEST most cracking hardest hitting shite money could buy for your DISCman and car stereo. Won't ever forget summer of 95 driving cross country up all night going 85 smoking purps and daybreak slamming through "Jilted" and "Experience". SO EPIC hope you read this Liam and know you made it sicko & you're loved

Are you saying Electronic music isn't original? Let me tell you that literally every Electronic song out there is sampled in one way or another..
