You MSers should look into CCSVI. Screw harmful meds. I USED to have MS..I was injecting Copaxone. I had the outpatient surgery..I used to have MS..

Thanks for your reply but Avonex has serious side effects do you still think it is suitable or if it was compared to the Tysabri which one would you prefer coz at the precise moment im like a juggler!
So again please would you not mind to reply with your recommendation as seen as your a ms sufferer too hope you don't find me wrong in asking you this question as it is medical but its just as a guide to take a note of to try the best treatment that will reduce the effects of MS
Marlo, you have the very best attitude about injecting yourself. I am on Rebif now (just finished 1.5 months) after taking Avonex for 1.5 years. Rebif is really not that bad, other than the pink bruises that I get sometimes. I just hope works better for me better than the Avonex did.
Just curious - why don't you clean your skin with alcohol first?
My best to you,
Adrienne

Ah ha! Why don't I use alcohol? It is not available in England. In fact when i first moved here from NY, people thought I was crazy asking for alcohol at the pharmacy! I kept thinking it was shockingly unsanitary. Ah! But then...I realised that when we are so paranoid about cleanliness, we end up getting more germs. I wash my hands, and inject into clean skin, and that has been great. One time when I was back in NY, I used some alcohol wipes and ouch! I wouldnt bother again!
Best wishes,
Marlo

How many have you done so far? They get easier and more 'routine.' In the past month I dug out the injector pen to see how much faster the swish was compared to my own hand pushing. The pen is much better at it! and quicker! I am just so lazy to get it out.
