  • Look, i'm sorry if i offended you, but i'm not bashing your religion, and your views at all!! all i'm saying is that what you believe in, and live your life by is a fairy tale! If you still want to believe, and worship such a being somehow, Great, be my guest, i have no problem with that, and respect it fully, and understand why you believe it, because for some people,(not being mean) truth is too hard to comprehend, nor understand. Now weather or not god helps you, doesn't change the truth .

  • Why is it so hard to believe that this "energy" that is present everywhere in the universe and is eternal (can't be created nor destroyed), is God/creator! I believe it to be conscious energy and we live and breath in him. Pretty logical to me.

  • I like the fact that you at least believe in the third law of thermodynamics! We have a start here. You were right all along until you mentioned that this "energy" is some kind of a super natural being, and linked it to a god? Your giving matter, and energy a super natural brain, and a cause! which you there is no proof for. When you look at the nature, universe, and galaxies, you would expect to have no super natural god mind, or anything magical. Earth quicks/tornadoes/diseases/wars/

  • "Your giving matter, and energy a super natural brain"

I believe in this thing called spirit/soul and it's a conscience thing. This "energy" must be pretty smart to to compose everything with such order and complexity. And yet we are here talking about it. I don't expect you to understand but at least see that my ideas are not far fetched.

  • Continued: disasters/millions of people starving/murders/sufferings/and just the raw cruelty of nature. You see when you look at a lion, that lion is equipped with every tool to kill, and eat a antelope. At the same time the antelope is made, and has every tool to scape, and avoid the lion! i mean which side is god on? that is extreme competition, and nature. So many galaxies falling apart, rocks hitting earth, and all these, and you still tell me a mind of god designed, and created all this?!!

  • If you are assuming that God is to blame for millions of people starving/murders/suffering, you are wrong!

As far as disease and starving people that is OUR fault. Please watch my vid "Who is to blame? God? You? me?"

cruelty of nature = part of the natural cycle of things and part of the "order" of nature not God's fault.

You claim to be such a rational person but thus far you have made philosophical statements: "i mean which side is god on?"

  • ATTN: Lawrence Krauss "A Universe From

    Nothing".

  • Oh my "god". This is not only a non-arguement, an assumption, and baseless, but it's purposeful misdirection and propaganda.

  • Turtles all the way down...that is why god cannot be the answer.

  • @natedaug1 The first cause argument is easily refuted simply by pointing out that we don't know that matter didn't exist, then did.

  • This guy is making a good point, the only reason people don't like his argument, is because they just agree with it. The "first cause argument," is difficult for atheists to explain.

  • @WayOfTheMaster454 Actually, I do get it. It's you who don't get that you're using a whole bunch of logical fallacies to make your point.

  • @sleazybtd --Ive tried to explain, but if you dont "get it" I cant make you "get it"; Pray for understanding. What could possibly go wrong?

  • @WayOfTheMaster454 Yeah, the select few who can't see the forest for the trees.

If you can't explain a concept to someone who isn't part of your clique, then is it even remotely possible that your concept is irrational?

  • @sleazybtd --there is no contradiction; You have to be one of the elect to understand I guess.

  • @WayOfTheMaster454 And still no evidence of what god really meant. Without evidence one way or another, you're just guessing as to what god really wants.

And you ignored my other point. In one part of the bible, god says that there are no other gods, and in another he tells you to have no other gods. How do you resolve this contradiction?
