Transcript:
Hey Gleeks, this is Alex from SideReel, and as usual I'm here to talk about last night's episode of Glee. Now last night was the annual Sectionals episode, so you know what that means - before we go any further, this is your official spoiler alert.

So last night's episode was full of surprises... For one, Trouty Mouth Evans is apparently an underage stripper named White Chocolate, Rachel Berry did NOT find a way to sneak on stage and perform for Sectionals, and... New Directions got first place. Now, you all probably think I hate the New Directions based on my previous reviews... and that's not true. I'm a huge Glee fan, and ultimately I've got their back...I just don't think they deserved to win Sectionals this time around. Personally none of the groups' performances really 'wowed' me like they have in past seasons' sectionals.. but I honestly thought the Troubletone's Survivor mashup was just a bit cleaner and more entertaining than the others. And why was the New Directions performance like 15 minutes long? Every time I thought it was over the lights would come back on and they'd just keep going, and not even Sam's hip thrusting could make it more interesting for me. All I kept thinking the whole time was 'y'all are lucky the Warblers aren't here, cuz they probably woulda kicked all y'alls asses." I'm sorry. But as usual, feel free to disagree with me - sound off in the comments with your take on how Sectionals went down... and I'll see you next time!

  • you suck they all did awsome the new directions was ment to win

  • @recordz12 I'll take that.

  • New directions deserved their win, sorry but it's true, the cast worked hard on that 12 minute performance and it showed, their songs resresented alot of things unlike the troubletones mash up and if you actually watched for things happening and looks exchanged during the performance instead of wondering when it was going to be over it was just as good as dialog.

  • @tartarcreamxx Meh.

  • I absolutely disagree with you! The ND performance was amazing!! It was one of my fave performances of all time. They did great music, and they actually danced!! Like real dancing! Not just throwing their arms around and bobbing up and down. In my opinion, the deff deserved to win. :)

  • i agree with you it so should off been troubletones win

  • I hate you ok....i saw everyone of your review and ur a mean person. stop watching glee if you don't like but just stop being so rude. and dude the ND worked super hard to win and they were suspose to win that was the plan btw the ND number was 7 minutes long and not 15. when ND perform they put emotion in their performance when TT performs they put power

  • Agreed with everything you said!

  • The trouble tones was good but the over use of hand choreography and hairography ruined it for me. I felt it looked messy, like they were just flailing their arms about. It was a good mash up but if I had been a judge I would have given it to new directions too. Better overall set list dancing and performance.

  • If the Trouble Tones had done a mash-up as good as the one from the episode of the same name I would agree with you, but I felt their performance was kind of flat. I enjoyed the Jackson medly a hundred times over and enjoyed Lindsey's performance of Buenos Aires better and she didn't even perform a medley.
