your gauge cluster looks to be malfunctioning at the time the problem occurred. if it never happens again, dont worry about it, if it does , you will need to gauge cluster assy

Yeah, never happened again. But I haven't had to disconnect the battery since.

If anyone gives a shit, it just started working one day going 70 down the highway, I look down and its working. So i dunno, weird shit.

is there anything you can do in that car to make a gauge sweep to see if it moves at all when the rest of the gauges work?

I was curious that myself but I dont no of any way personally, Chrysler/Mopar cars all you have to do is hold the trip reset and cycle the key.
