New Windows Phones

Microsoft is unveiling the next generation of Windows phones, which will be based on Windows Mobile 6.5 and feature a new user interface and a richer browsing experience. In addition, Windows phones will feature two new services: My Phone, to sync text messages, photos, video and contacts to the Web; and Windows Marketplace for Mobile, a new marketplace that will provide direct-to-phone mobile applications that can be controlled from both the phone and the Web.

I would cut all of your WM adds on this account so people don't look at them and instead see the glory of WP7. I am sure a lot of people would be confused and see these and think that it is WP7, I have seen a lot of confused people.

I don't think that it is in their favour to be advertising a phone using very corny effects and blatantly showing how unresponsive/Laggy the phone's touch screen is.

It'll be one of those phones that works fine while the memory is empty but will experience hardcore lag once you start putting stuff in it.

@astrak1001 I agree with smoothness of OS. But what does iphone do really besides havint 1000000000 apps? And let's be realisitc, i have 2 windows phone and i've used iphone. To me, Windows OS feels more like what business phone should do. But it is not as as smooth as iphone's os. And i'm not big fan of Windows mobile 7 OS. It is basically Zune's Os with tile thingy. Personlly i think Web OS from Palm has the best user experience.

These seem like GREAT phones. I can't wait to see what comes up in the future. The Flash Lite is a definite plus... These phones may give the ol' iPhone a run for it's money ;P

(By the way, I'm writing this on my iPhone 3GS. OS elitism isn't cool, guys. Grow up and see that both brands are great in many areas.)
