"Yahoo reported 3Q earnings per share that was better than analysts expected on Tuesday. Revenue however was slightly lower than Wall Street had anticipated. The company's fourth quarter forecasts, also not as high as investors would like.
With me to discuss the September quarter and what's next for Yahoo is The Benchmark Company's Clayton Moran.
Clayton ...
1. What did you think of the quarter versus your own estimates?
2. So, with disappointing results do you think this quarter will impact the impetus for an acquisition to occur?
3. What is the company doing to compete with Google and others to improve growth in display ads?
4. What is Yahoo doin goon the social networking front? They have deals with some social aging companies (for example Zynga which makes Farmville) but will there be any other push?
Alright thanks a lot Clayton. For further updates on Yahoo make sure your subscribed this is FNN.
