Climate hearings are going on all over the world. They offer poor people an unique chance to share their stories about how climate change is already impacting on their lives. They're making sure that politicians hear their voices.
Want to know more, want to get involved
Great video that shows first hand the problems climate change is causing around the world.
It is a great platform for giving the people that are being hit first and worst by climate change the chance to have their voices heard. Well done Oxfam. Let's hope that they make a difference at Copenhagen.

A note to the deniers posting comments here;
(from wikipedia) With the release of the revised statement by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists in 2007, no remaining scientific body of national or international standing is known to reject the basic findings of human influence on recent climate change.

Non-scientific IPCC reports? Are you insane???

Wow... why so much ignorance on the Oxfam channel?

russttu... didn't you get the memo. Are people still questioning climate change science. Wake up, man.

The truly, truly sad thing is that a random poor person from an undeveloped country has about as much credability on the subject of AGW as the non-scientific IPCC reports.
That ought to tell you something.

The problems of these people are caused by poverty and their incompetent and/or corrupt local governments with their non-existant planning for naturally occuring droughts and natural climate variability. They have nothing to do with emissions of CO2. What these people need is cheap coal-fired energy so they can develop their economies. The LAST thing they need is continued dependence on hand-outs from the west and to be told they can't burn coal due to the bogus religion of global warming.

Over population using up finite resources couples with natural climate and weather patterns does not equal man made global warming. Parading these poor people on camera after convincing them that their drought was caused by a coal plant is the epitome of environmental coercion and social terrorism.
