and if u google an image of an ostrich egg u will note that it too is an oblate sphere bulging at its centre...

no where in the quran does it say the earth is flat! it say the earth is like an ostrich egg, n ostritch egg is an eliptical sphere, the closest shape u have to the proper earth!
the only contradiction between science and the quran is the THEORY of evolution of MAN!
