There are a lot of clubs coming through the workshop for re-building. Normally, we just get on with the job but this was such a good example of clubmaking gone wrong - we had to share it.
With lie you would expect to see the clubs increase by 1 degree from 58 degrees on the 3 Iron to 64 degrees on the PW but in this video all of the clubs were 60 degrees The result, the guy never managed to hit the clubs consistently straight - every single shot went left. Also the lofts were not as they should be and the 6 iron was nearly a 5 iron. He blamed himself, never thought it was the clubs. Luckily, he plays golf with one of our customers (a fairly savvy golfer) who knew something was wrong and told him to get the clubs checked out.
