This is noor jehan singing for faiz himself,he had just gotten out of jail I think Ali noor of Noori his grand dad recorded it,Musa Kazim is his name if I am not mistaken.

The vocalist is Noor Jahan, and there's no doubt.
Those listeners who listened to her old songs can very well recognize this voice. So I think you shouldn't be comparing this voice with her 80s songs...

Someone else who listened to this said the same thing but the person from whom I obtained the audio says otherwise. This mehfil took place at his parents' home in Lahore in 1959...so he claims!
