@cheeeselove Only true masters can play slowly. It's easier to hide behind the speed.

Joué tellement parfaitement ! Il vit vraiment la musique comme il se doit ♥
-
@314violin he was a very troubled man.

I like it... it sounds so calm :)

That time of year thou may'st in m behold
When yellow leaves, or none, or few
Do hang upon the boughs which shake against the cold -
Bare ruin'd choirs where late the sweet birds sang.
-
One of my favorite pieces in the "Seasons" collection. He plays it beautifully.

Look at his hands, they're dancing... Beautiful.

This video beats all the other playings of 'October' on Youtube.
I've listened to sooooo many other versions played by different people and they all have either
- been too loud
- had not enough dynamic contrast between the different parts
- had been not expressive enough. Emotionless
- had been wayyyyyy too slow
- was extremely slow than suddenly wayyyy too fast. Bad control of rubato.
This video was what exactly I was looking for. Victor Goldberg is a genius!

breathtakinly beautiful, deeply connected to the very core of the work.
