It's Going To Be Okay - Season 2 Episode 7 Part 2

Demi: I drove you to drink?
Joe: I, drove me to drink. Im now a recovering alcoholic. Thirteen months sober.
Demi: Thats great.
Joe: I guess. So how is school?
Demi: Amazing. I love it here. I really think that you should come here. I think you would love it too.
Joe: (Sighs) Im not sure anymore.
Demi: (Disappointed) I understand.
Joe: (Smiles) Okay, Im sure. Ill come.
Demi: (Happy) Thats great.
Joe: So you live with David, Mitchell and Miley?
Demi: Umm, no I live by myself. Its a crappy little apartment, but I got it cheap when I first came here.
Joe: Well maybe we could get an apartment together?
Demi: I wouldnt exactly call that going slow, would you?
Joe: (Sad) Right, sorry.
Demi: Maybe someday though. Who knows, maybe even by the time school starts.
Joe: Id really like that.
Demi: Well see.
Joe: So hows work?
Demi: Its cool. It pays the bills. I mean its great to work with Miley, but the boss is kind of a dick, and everyone relies on me to cover shifts. But its steady. The tips are great.
Joe: (Quickly looks her up and down) I can see why.
Demi: (Playfully hits him with a pillow from the couch)
Joe: (Puts his arm around her shoulder)
Demi: (Cuddles up under his arm, resting her head on his shoulder and sighs)
Joe: Whats wrong?
Demi: I missed this.
Joe: (Nods) You have no idea.
Demi: So youre working?
Joe: Just at a convenience store, nothing Ill miss when I come here.
Demi: Is everyone coming with you?
Joe: I think so. Kevin and Danielle can get transfers, and Nick and Sel of course will go wherever shelter is paid for. I mean if thats okay with you?
Demi: (Nods and smiles) I think I could get used to it.
Joe: Good, because its going to be awesome, all of us together again.
Demi: Speaking of all of us together again, do you think maybe we should go and meet up with everyone else?
Joe: Oh, I suppose. But one thing before we go.
Demi: (Sits up and looks at him) What is it?
Joe: (Grabs her face and kisses her intensely)
Demi: (Kisses back, smiling throughout)
Joe: (Pulls away and looks at her) That was all.
Demi: Oh, so thats how you want to play it?
Joe: (Smiles) I love you Demi.
Demi: (Smiles, then stands up and walks into the hall)
Joe: (Hurt, he walks after her with a frown on his face)
Demi: (Senses his frown from behind her and laughs) I love you too.
Joe: (Smiles) I know.
Demi: (Shakes her head) Lets go downstairs.
