@mat10911 up on the search bar, "tony royster jr. warming up". He has some good tips. And you will witness one of the fastests paradiddles and doubles ever :-P. I myself haven't completely mastered it but i am fairly good, my doubles are as fast as tony's but i can't seem to get my paradiddles even. Practise makes perfect :) and if you really have a passion for drums, this will bore you but you wont give up on it. Have fun.

@mat10911 it's very important also that you try and practise it on a surface with little to no reboud like a pillow, it builds up the strength in your fingers, forearms and wrists. I know that it is a pain in the ass to get the hang of and will take a really long time to master. but it is worth it and you are going to be very happy that you can do it. Look

@mat10911 i would start with double hand strokes. Because you will realize that once you have mastered them, it can be applied most other rudiments. For example, once you get that quick double hit going, you will notice that all paradiddles are is single, single, double, single, single, double, etc. Very very useful Around the kit.

@studkick you sound like a salesman, the brand in cymbals do not make you feel any more or less of a drummer. It's the soind you like, not the sound a random tells you that you like.

hey you got good chops man, look do yourself a favor though, save your money or get your parents or grandparents to buy you some good top qual Sabian Cymbals. You will feel complete crashing, splashing and riding those it will definately make you feel like a drummer

A good habit to get into is ghosts notes, it will make dynamics and more complex fills become easier to accomplish and sound better, also rudiments are key, practise double strokes on a pillow (or something with no rebound) until you become fast and comfortable, if you can then apply that you your kit, i gaurentee you will drop jaws.
