It is easy to think that the sheep is scared and doesn't like this. The most reliable test is to see whether sheep are prepared to be shorn more than once. Sheep, like humans, can remember unpleasant experiences clearly and will visibly and actively resist being subjected to a similar experience again. We never had this problem in our tests and trials. The sheep's eyes are completely covered by the special head restraint. This makes the sheep fall asleep, especially as it is upside down.
