  • You peope dont know what you are talking about. He is doing a good job. From what i can tell its the HPT Method and flare SHOULD be taken from an inch below the coronary band (as is being done).

    Can you explain the weight bearing geometry as you see it to clarify why you think it is weakening it?

    Gain some knowledge before you speak!

  • Nice video but - Trimming from the top compromises the support/strength of the hoof wall and aggravates flares. Not easy to see but I think the toes are too long on the fronts, it is from there you need to address the flare - slowly, slowly. Sorry, sanding wont "seal" the tubules. I find that an amusing concept and would love to know where it came from!

  • Rasping tubules does not reseal them, it breaches and weakens the weight bearing geometry.

  • Great Job in explanining but I think you're rasping too high on the hoof wall making it weak.
