LEGO TETRIX robot controlled by a wireless PS2 controller.
Robot is running a LabVIEW program, and uses a Mindsensors.com PS2 interface module.
Pauses in driving are mainly due to rookie driver thinking about what to do next :)
Robot design is based on the TETRIX robot described in the 2008 "FTC Getting Started with LabVIEW" manual.

Noodle pickup mechanism is original design.

  • Hey GEARSinc, how do you connect your wireless controller to your PC?

  • @benmoro The wireless PSP2 receiver plugs into an adapter which is plugged into the NXT. Read the video info text. No PC is involved. If you WANT to use a PC, then use the Logitech USB controller.

  • thats pretty beastly... i am having problems with labview its not seeing my motors ive done everything its told me to do i can not figure it out... can u please help me? (btw 5/5*)

  • Have you:

So. You've built the "Getting Started" robot and are running the template software? Yes.

If so, can you see the two battery voltages displayed on the screen?

Have you run "The Mechanic" program that gets loaded in the Labview examples folder? See the "Getting Started" manual that came with the TETRIX kit.
