  • When me and my dad went out there in late july you could see them laying on the weeds , just dropped a golden spoon down there whizzed it by there faces a few times and WHAMMMM instant musky . We went to get them weighed and we were something like 3 or 4 punds from state record, we caught both of them in a matter of like 15 minutes.

  • @NewStudio1 Hmmm interesting...do you have any idea what the state record is? And do you know there is a 50 inch limit on these girls? Good luck out there this year..so far no weeds yet and not many fish cruising around yet either..see ya

  • Hey camo, what makes me pist most is alot of the fishermen out here dont know any of the regs and are out there doing stupid things. Like bowhunting for muskies and using live bait. You cant use live bait for any other species on any of the lakes in Washington..! Maybe those regs that end up sitting by the crapper should be sitting in their laps out in their boats? C'mon man!

  • Hey jp.. I know for a fact that you can only use "dead-bait" for Tigers in the State of Washington. It is in the regs...just gotta look real hard for each lake with tigers in them. You can do the homework on that..theres only 7 lakes..dont get caught dragging live squawfish thats all im gonna say..see ya,Todd

  • Hey camofirekid...thats too bad that you didnt legally catch a Tiger. Hope you know that its illegal in the State of Washington to bowhunt gamefish..ILLEGAL! There were a couple of goons out there prior to this year doing exactly that. Heard they were finally caught? Maybe? And as far as using the(Sqawfish) pikie-minnows..they can only be used if they are DEAD.. DEAD-BAIT ONLY in the State of Washington. Please dude..check the regs ok...maybe 2011 we can get together and fish Tigers? See ya

  • i hate the idiots that dont read the regs I seen these guys out on tapps with spearpoles spearing muskie so i gave officer grant a call from the game management unit lol

  • I believe that if the bait fish came from that body of water it's legal dead or alive. The regs don't specify.

  • @MuskyfishinReis Hey I think as long as the bait fish came from the body of water you are fishing it can be live. The regs do not state they have to be dead. At least that is how I interpreted them, but with out talking to an enforcement officer I can't be sure. I hope they got the punks shooting game fish with bows. I say some guys on Crab Creek shooting bass about 10 years ago get busted and get a free ride with the deputy.
