As you said, being cheap. This is one thing I find when people try to judge you by what you have. Like, its all about big company brand stuff that people expect from you. If you go cheap, they never respect you. Only a few who have the same mentality stick to you & support you. Yes, what you need, is what is important. Not what others say. What feels good to you, do that. It feels positive, when being a minimalist. I have less things/stuff to worry about. Also have lots of time to spare too. Thx

i'm about to start exploring what the realisable potential of minimalism is for me, and it is an exciting prospect. I've gone thru that conversion of it being a pleasant aesthetic to it actually being a much deeper philosophical transition to a more meaningful life. I absolutely agree that it is, while a universal principle, a very personal tenet, and so is not for others to judge. it is a letting go of the material to replace with substance that is immaterial. I think of it as 'character'.

@minimalisticked Absolutely. It's not just about getting rid of stuff; it really frees you up to live a more meaningful life. Character is a great way to think of it.

I like how you say it's about getting rid of the things you kind of like to make more room for the things you really love. I think that perspective will help me gradually whittle things down a bit more. Thanks for the videos.
